Louisville, KY band Xerxes are getting ready to release their new album Collision Blonde this fall. A follow-up to their highly successful debut album Our Home Is a Deathbed, the new record is “a lyrical wreck that’s driven by love, drugs, depression.”
We’ve been posting about Xerxes the past few years, and they’ve toured with tons of bands that you know about — Pianos Become The Teeth, This is Hell, Daylight (now Superheaven), and so on. The Kentucky band’s debut album, Our Home Is a Deathbed, struck a nerve with folks in 2012, and now they’re back with a follow-up.
Xerxes are heading to Europe in July for a summer tour.
Xerxes have plans to release a new EP, Would You Understand?, in June.
Xerxes, Daylight, and Foreign Tongues will team up for a short run in May.
