Remember that time when we interviewed Torche back in the day outside the Knitting Factory in Hollywood? That was when they had just come out with Meanderthal, and lots have changed since then. In fact, early next year the band will be putting out their fourth studio album, Restarter.
Torche will be hitting the road once again, this time to tour with Clutch and Lionize this winter.
Torche are going to hit the road in September for a fall tour that heads through the South, up to the East Coast, and over to the Midwest.
The first time we interviewed Torche in 2009, the band responded to Andy Williams of Every Time I Die and how he said they were like the next wave of Nirvana. A big compliment, that’s for sure.
