The Sword have set Apocryphon as the title of their fourth album, due in October through Razor & Tie.
The band will enter the studio in late June with J. Robbins (Jawbox, Clutch) to record the effort.

The Sword will release a limited edition 7-inch single of “Hammer of Heaven” on June 22nd through Razor & Tie.
The effort will also include a live version of “Ebethron” recorded in Austin, Texas at Stubb’s Barbeque.
Red Fang have confirmed a run of dates in June leading up to their appearance at “Orion Music + More” festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The band will join The Sword on a handful of shows. The itinerary follows:
The Sword have released a digital single for a previously unreleased track called “Hammer of Heaven” via iTunes. Listen to a teaser below.
The song, tracked during 2005’s Age of Winters sessions, was submitted for The Avengers soundtrack but was not included in the film.
The Sword have signed a worldwide deal with Razor & Tie.
The band will begin tracking their fourth album in late June. A fall release date is expected.
