This is pretty badass — Omar, Cedric, and Travis Barker. The band is currently doing a string of shows across the Southwest with Barker behind the kit. And as you can see, it’s going over pretty well.
How rad is that? Antemasque, the band that features ex-The Mars Volta members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala have recruited Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker for a string of upcoming shows. Oh yeah, and he’s on their new record.
That’s a lot of alliteration in that headline — phew! Anyway, everyone’s stoked about Killer Be Killed making their live debut in February. The supergroup featuring members of Soulfly, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, and ex-The Mars Volta, will be taking the stage for the first time at this year’s Soundwave Festival in Australia.
Antemasque, the new project of former The Mars Volta/At The Drive-In members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, are kicking off their fall tour tonight. The trek consists of two separate legs, in Europe and in North America, and they’ll be bringing along Le Butcherettes.
