Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor may be the new singer for Velvet Revolver.
According to Billboard.com, Taylor refused to confirm or deny rumors when asked about his involvement with the band.
“To be continued!” he exclaimed.
An official announcement confirming Taylor as the group’s new frontman has yet to be released.
Slipknot has been confirmed to headline UK’s Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth House on July 8 – 10, 2011.

Though Joey Jordison reportedly revealed in a recent interview that Slipknot is writing a new album, frontman Corey Taylor has dismissed all rumors. Taylor commented via Twitter:
“Before anyone gets the wrong idea, let me be clear. I have NO PLANS to make a new Slipknot album any time soon. Shows? Maybe. Album? No.”
“As for [Jordison’s] comments, he took that on himself to say that in print. I can think of 5 people in this band who haven’t written/heard a thing.”
Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) will digitally release a Christmas single on December 12 called “X-M@$” to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust. Stream the track below.
Billboard reports that Slipknot is working on new material, and has plans to enter the studio in 2011 to track its next album. More details to come.
