Live video footage of Mike Patton performing Mondo Cane’s first single, “Il Cielo In Una Stanza”, can be streamed below.
The footage comes from Patton’s performance at The Paradiso in Amsterdam — the full concert is slated for a DVD release later this year.
The “Mondo Cane” album is set for release on May 4 via Ipecac.

Patton worked with a 30-piece orchestra and choir to create the self-titled album. The record features traditional Italian pop songs as well as a rendition of Ennio Morricone’s “Deep Down”.
Mondo Cane’s album will be released on May 4 via Ipecac Recordings.

Mondo Cane, the long awaited Mike Patton project featuring cover versions of 1950s and 1960s Italian pop music, will see a release on May 4th via Ipecac.
According to an article with Ipecac Recordings’ Greg Werckman, the Mike Patton project Mondo Cane – featuring cover versions of 1950s and 1960s Italian pop music – will see a release in 2010. In addition, Peeping Tom will begin work on a new album next year.
According to a recent tweet by bassist Billy Gould, it is said that Faith No More are in the process of booking a U.S. tour.
