Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Mastodon have been confirmed to play Poland’s Sonisphere Festival. The first show of the festival is scheduled for June 16 at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland. Additional dates are to be announced next week.

Metallica will be releasing a DVD/CD set entitled “Orgullo, Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches En La Ciudad de Mexico” (“Pride, Passion, and Glory: Three Nights in Mexico City”).The DVD/CD set will include live performances of the band’s three day stint at Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City last June. Other versions available include one DVD (18 tracks), Blu-ray version of that DVD, a digi-pack with the DVD and two CD’s, and a deluxe version slip case package.

$100,000 reward for missing Metallica fan
According to WSLS, Morgan Harrington’s parents confirmed there is a $100,000 reward for information that will help locate her. Harrington went missing last Saturday night while attending a Metallica show. More on that can be found here.
