Korn Reveal Details for ‘The Path to Totality’

Further details have been revealed for Korn’s new dubstep album, The Path to Totality, due out November 15th via Roadrunner

For the upcoming effort, the band worked with a number of dubstep producers, including Skrillex (3 songs), Datsik, Feed Me, Excision, 12th Planet, Downlink, Kill the Noise, Noisia, and Downlink.

“I thought it would be fun to experiment again and see what we come up with, and maybe come up with something like this that we’re really, really excited about,” frontman Jonathan Davis commented. “We like to experiment and try things and we’re not gonna put out something that we don’t all like.”

Korn Goes Dubstep with New Album, Gamers Launch Petition to Stop ‘Silent Hill’ Theme Song

Korn has been at work on a new album with dubstep-style influence, having already collaborated with a handful of producers for the new material.

“We’ve collaborated with six, maybe seven dubstep producers on the new record,” bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu tells NME. “I’ve done my parts, I think Jonathan [Davis, singer] has a couple of vocal takes still to do, but it’s almost done.”

The band released its first dubstep-influenced track, “Get Up”, last month, which was produced by Skrillex.
