Ex Deo (Kataklysm) will enter the studio in fall with producer Jean-Francois Dagenais (Kataklysm, Misery Index, Despised Icon) to begin tracking its second album entitled Caligula.

Kataklysm recorded a new single called “The Iron Will” last week in Montreal, QC.
The track will be released with a music video a month prior to the band’s forthcoming 20th anniversary DVD, The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined, which is now expected to see its release in spring 2012.

Directed and produced by Tommy Jones (Lamb Of God, Soilwork), the effort will feature a documentary beginning with the band’s inception in 1991. The DVD will also include a number of interviews, including the band’s first frontman Sylvain Houde.
Additionally, a single and music video the title track, “The Iron Will”, will be recorded this summer.
Kataklysm, All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth, Conducting From The Grave, and Abysmal Dawn will tour North America in February and March. Dates are as follows:
