Pioneering Washington, D.C. post-hardcore band, Jawbox, will be performing on tonight’s episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This will mark the band’s first appearance of any sort in nearly 12 years.
The Jawbox re-issue of “For Your Own Special Sweetheart” on CD, LP, and MP3 is now available in stores.
The band is also booked to perform on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on NBC on December 8th.
A re-issued version of the Jawbox record “For Your Own Special Sweetheart” will be released on November 24th via Dischord Records. The re-mastered album will contain new artwork and will feature three bonus tracks off the “Savory” EP.
J. Robbins of Jawbox, Burning Airlines has teamed up with Chris Walla of Death Cab For Cutie to record a song for NPR dubbed “Mercury”. More on that can be found here.
