Far guitarist Shaun Lopez is currently mixing Deftones tracks for a “Diamond Eyes” B-side release. More details to come.
A new track by Far, entitled “Deafening”, has been made available for those who sign up to the band’s mailinglist here.
The song will appear on the band’s forthcoming album, “At Night We Live”, due out May 18 through Vagrant.
Far has written a new song dedicated to Deftones bassist Chi Cheng; video footage of the band performing an acoustic rendition of the track can be seen below. In November 2008, Cheng was critically injured in a car accident. He has since been left in a semi-conscious state.
Far have released a 7” limited edition picture disc single that features their Ginuwine cover of “Pony”, along with an acoustic live version of the song. Complete information can be found here.
