Cradle of Filth will release a two-disc orchestral album called Midnight In The Labyrinth on April 21st, Record Store Day.

Influenced by composers such as Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, and Hans Zimmer the outing will feature the most requested tracks from the band’s first four albums, including “Funeral In Carpathia,” “The Twisted Nails Of Faith,” and “Summer Dying Fast.” 

In other news, the band is at work on a new album, expected out around Halloween.

Cradle of Filth’s new CD/DVD mini-album, Evermore Darkly…, will now see its release on October 24th in Europe via Peaceville Records and October 25th in North America through Nuclear Blast.

Details have been revealed for Cradle of Filth’s upcoming CD/DVD mini-album, Evermore Darkly…, due October 17th in Europe via Peaceville Records and October 18th in North America through Nuclear Blast.

The mini-album will feature a remix of “Forgive Me Father,” done by Rob C from Anthrax, an extended rendition of “Lilith Immaculate,” and demo versions of three Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa songs, along with a track teasing the band’s impending orchestral project.

The DVD includes performance footage from summer 2011, along with a documentary dubbed You Can’t Polish A Turd… But You Can Roll It In Glitter.

Cradle of Filth will release a CD/DVD dubbed Evermore Darkly…, on October 10th via Peaceville Records.

The outing will include a handful of new tracks and rarities, and a road documentary with ten songs filmed at this year’s Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium.
