Black Sabbath to Hold Press Conference at Whisky a Go-Go in LA, Reunion Announcement Expected

Black Sabbath will hold a press conference at the Whisky a Go-Go in West Hollywood, California on November 11th at 11:11 AM. The band is expected to make their official reunion announcement.

The press conference will mark the anniversary of the band’s Los Angeles debut at the Whisky 41 years ago on the same date.

Henry Rollins will host the event.

Black Sabbath Reunion in ‘Early Stages,’ Says Osbourne

Following Black Sabbath’s reunion announcement with Birmingham Mail in August, which was later debunked but not denied, frontman Ozzy Osbourne has now confirmed that a reunion is in its early stages.

Osbourne told Billboard.com of a reunion, “Yes, it’s a very, very strong possibility. It’s in the very early stages, so we haven’t recorded anything yet. If it works out, it’ll work out. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep doing my thing.”

Iommi Doesn’t Deny Black Sabbath Reunion

Following yesterday’s Black Sabbath’s reunion announcement, which was later debunked by guitarist Tony Iommi, Birmingham Mail is now reporting that Iommi has refused to deny that the band is reforming with its original lineup.

Iommi manager Ralph Baker said Iommi “was not saying that it wasn’t true.”

Comments Baker, “We haven’t got anything in place. He’s not denying that the guys have been talking but there’s nothing in the way that’s been implied in the statements that you made.”

Iommi Says Black Sabbath Reunion Confirmation is ‘Absolute Nonsense’

Black Sabbath’s reunion announced earlier today may not happen after all, according to a statement released by guitarist Tony Iommi.

Says Iommi, “I’m saddened that a Birmingham journalist whom I trusted has chosen this point in time to take a conversation we had back in June and make it sound like we spoke yesterday about a Black Sabbath reunion.
