You know that band Black Map we’ve been talking about that features members of Dredg and Far? They put out an EP called Driver earlier this year and they’ll be soon coming out with their debut album. Brace yourselves.
Black Map (Dredg, Far) will be heading to Europe for the first time this fall. They’ll be joining Chevelle on a number of dates.
You know Dredg played a show once with Salman Rushdie? It was at a bookstore in New York in 2009 and guitarist Mark Engles told us it’s been one of the highlights of the band’s career. “One of the brilliant minds of this world,” he said. “Salman Rushdie.”
