Serenade us, Javier. The Animals As Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes is back at it with his instrumental project Mestis. If you remember, in 2012 Javier put out the first Mestis recording, an EP titled Basal Ganglia. Now new material is set to be released in November.
Animals As Leaders are going on a huge US tour this summer with Between The Buried And Me and The Contortionist. They’re still out in support of their latest record The Joy of Motion, which came out last year.
Mammoth is an understatement. Gargantuan and colossal are better words to describe the Los Angeles progressive metal trio who have stampeded across Southern California the past few years, making a name for themselves with their hefty roar and grand stage performances.
If you’ve already been contemplating your summer plans, make sure whatever you do the soundtrack includes new Between The Buried And Me. The band have their seventh studio album Coma Ecliptic coming out in July.
