ZECHS MARQUISE Will be Playing their First Show in a Couple Years

by | Dec 18, 2015

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Zechs Marquise, the killer instrumental band that features the three younger brothers of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. As far as we know, they haven’t played a show since 2013.

What we do know is that the guys have been busy doing other things. Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez has been keeping busy with his project Eureka The Butcher, and Marfred Rodriguez-Lopez has been touring with Antemasque.

Will Zechs be back in action in 2016?

Not too sure, but we do have our finger crossed. The band will be playing their first show in quite a while on December 26th in their hometown of El Paso, TX. They’ll be taking the stage at The Lowbrow Palace… with Eureka The Butcher also on the bill. You can get tix here.

And while we’re at it, here’s a stream of their 2011 album Getting Paid in full.
