Watch Footage of SUMAC’s First Show Ever in Vancouver, BC

The new band Sumac, featuring former Isis vocalist/guitarist Aaron Turner and Baptists drummer Nick Yacyshyn, took the stage for the first time ever a couple weeks ago. They played their first show at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver, BC where they opened for Deafheaven and were joined by Brian Cook of Russian Circles on bass.

The sound is a little rough, but here’s some footage from their performance on December 4th.

The band’s forthcoming debut album The Deal comes out on February 3rd via Profound Lore.
