Tim Lambesis’ Wife Had Been Worried About Changes in His Behavior: He Had Become “Obsessed with Bodybuilding”

by | May 9, 2013

According to court papers obtained by The Associated Press, Meggan Lambesis, the wife of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis, said she had been worried about recent changes in the singer’s behavior and his ability to care for their three adopted children.

Lambesis said her husband had become “obsessed with bodybuilding” and was always distracted when with their kids. She also noted that he spent thousands of dollars on tattoos, owned two “high-end” Harley Davidson motorcycles, and lived in a spacious suite at his parents’ $2 million home.

In the divorce documents filed last September, she said the children needed a “stable parent” to help them adjust to their new life.

Tim Lambesis is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon for an arraignment. He was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to murder his estranged wife.
