Tim Lambesis’ Bail Lowered; Admits to Steroid Use

by | May 18, 2013

New details have emerged in the case of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis — his bail has been lowered and he admits to have been using steroids.

Lambesis appeared in Vista Superior Court today asking for his bail to be reduced from $3 million. The judge lowered it to $2 million, but Lambesis’ attorney said it’s still too high for the singer to post bail — they asked for $250,000.

According to UTSanDiego.com, Lambesis started using steroids after he got into body building. His lawer Thomas Warwick said, “His thought processes were devastatingly affected by his steroid use.”

Lambesis had an arraignment last week where he pleaded not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder. He’s accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his wife, who turned out to be an undercover detective. He’s been in jail since May 7th.
