He Is Legend Gettin’ Ready to Drop Some Heavy Fruit

by | Jun 17, 2014

We mentioned before about the time we interviewed Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and how He Is Legend vocalist Schuylar Croom filled in for Dallas Taylor on that tour in 2009. If you’re looking for a family reunion of sorts, you’ll be able to see He Is Legend with Maylene this summer on a lengthy trek across the States. Ya dig?

As you know He Is Legend haven’t put out an album since 2009, and all that’s changing in August when they’re releasing their long-awaited new record Heavy Fruit. A follow-up to 2009’s It Hates You, the album came together slowly after resurrecting from hiatus.

Here’s a new song from the band called “Miserable Company,” and for old times sake, a stream of It Hates You in full.

Heavy Fruit comes out August 19th via Tragic Hero Records.

All That Remains: The Ryan’s Rock Show Interview

First week numbers are in for All That Remains’ new album For We Are Many — the record sold nearly 30,000 units in the first seven days of its release, landing at number 10 on the Billboard 200. That’s a pretty crazy number considering I don’t...

RX Bandits Interview with Matt Embree & Steve Choi: A Decade with RXB

If you’ve been a longtime RRS reader, you may remember one of our very first video interviews ever, done back in 2009 with RX Bandits. That one — filled with cheap beer and long talks of Fugazi — was conducted a few months before Mandala...

FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES Interview with Brian Deneeve & Mike Pilato
