Night Verses part with frontman, new album coming

by | Sep 5, 2017

Here’s an interesting turn of events: Night Verses announced that they’ve parted ways with vocalist Douglas Robinson, and are moving forward as an instrumental trio.

The band took to Facebook to address the situation:

We came to this decision mutually with Douglas and believe it is the best thing for us all moving forward. We’d like to take this time to not only thank Douglas for his commitment and contributions to the band for the past 5+ years, but to also acknowledge how important he was to the foundation of the band. We’ve played hundreds of shows around the world together, and made art that we’ll be proud of forever.

Last year Night Verses released their latest album Into The Vanishing Light, which was recorded with producer Ross Robinson (Glassjaw, At The Drive-In). This month they’ll be entering the studio once again — this time with Will Putney (Stray From The Path, Counterparts) to record their third full length.

The band will be releasing their new, as-of-yet untitled record through Putney’s own Graphic Nature Records, an Equal Vision imprint.

Here’s a teaser of what to expect:
