Trap Them breaking up, announce farewell shows

by | Aug 22, 2017

It appears that Trap Them have called it quits.

The band announced a trio of “final shows” in November that’ll take place in the Northeast. But no official word yet as to why they’re disbanding.

Trap Them formed back in 2001 and have released five studio albums — 2016’s Crown Feral was their latest.

We had the pleasure of interviewing vocalist Ryan McKenney in 2011. We talked in depth about their album Darker Handcraft. And we asked him to give us his definition of success. Here’s what he said:

“For me personally, [success is] to be able to take care of my wife and dog. I would consider right now to be a success.”

On that note, here’s where you can see them live for the last time:

Nov 10 New York, NY @ St. Vitus
Nov 11 Montreal, QC @ Turbo Haus
Nov 12 Boston, MA @ Sonia
