DEAD CROSS are in the Studio with Ross Robinson + California Shows

by | Dec 29, 2015

Sometimes supergroups can be lots of fun, and we’ve got a good feeling with this one. Dead Cross is a new band that features Dave Lombardo of Slayer with Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox), Gabe Serbian (Cattle Decapitation, The Locust), and Mike Crain (Retox). So new that they just formed two months ago, and they’re already recording their debut album.

Right now the group is tracking away with Ross Robinson (Glassjaw, At The Drive-In, The Blood Brothers), presumably at his spot in Venice. And from what we hear it’s “volatile and uncompromising… [pushes] the boundaries of classic West Coast Punk.”

We can dig it.

Here’s some footage from the studio. The band’s debut album is due out in 2016 through Three One G, and in January they’ll be playing some California shows.

Dead Cross tour dates:

Jan 10 Long Beach, CA @ Gaslamp Music + Bar + Kitchen
Jan 16 Palm Desert, CA @ Schmidy’s Tavern
Jan 21 Fullerton, CA @ The Slidebar Rock-n-Roll Kitchen
