Meshuggah Turns 25 This Year

It’s hard to believe that Meshuggah is about as old as (or older than!) most of us. You know the band has been around for 25 years? The group put out their self-titled EP (often referred to as “Psykisk Testbild”) in 1989, which makes them one-quarter of a century old this year. And yes, they’ll be celebrating.

The band will be commemorating their huge anniversary with scattered festival dates in North America and Europe. They’re also planning to put out a few 25th  anniversary releases, which we hope will contain a new song or two, but don’t know yet for sure. Their latest latest album Koloss, which we’re pretty sure you’re familiar with, was released in 2012.

For now that’s all we know, djentleman. We’ll fill you in when we get dates and release info.
