Lostprophets’ Ian Watkins is Going to Prison for 35 Years

Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins has been locked up.

The now infamous frontman has been sentenced to 29 years in jail, plus an extended licence of six years, meaning a total of 35 years in prison, according to WalesOnline.

The judge called him a “deeply corrupting influence” and a “dangerous sexual predator.” He’ll have to serve at least two thirds of his 29-year term before he is eligible for parole.

Last month Watkins pleaded guilty to attempted rape of a one-year old baby, among several other sex offenses.
