Palms: Chino Moreno to Record Vocals Soon

by | Jul 2, 2012

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno will soon be tracking vocals for Palms, a project with former Isis members Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer, and Jeff Caxide.

“The music’s all been recorded and everything, and obviously I’ve been engulfed in the Deftones record. But I told them as soon as I was done, we would record the vocal stuff,” Moreno told Billboard.com.

A six-song EP is in the works, but Moreno reveals to Billboard.com that “the songs are long as hell, so it’s like a full LP. I don’t know what it’ll be like or when it’s going to be done or released, but it’s a project I think is pretty rad.”

Deftones recently finished recording their new album, and are currently mixing the effort. The record is tentatively due in stores on October 9th.
