Eagles of Death Metal Bassist Diagnosed with Cancer — Benefit Shows Planned

Eagles of Death Metal bassist Brian O’Connor has been diagnosed with cancer — he will undergo surgery today and will begin chemotherapy in three weeks.

Them Crooked Vultures announced a benefit show in London, UK on July 5 at Brixton Academy to raise money for O’Connor’s medical expenses. A Los Angeles show is currently being planned and will be announced soon.

O’Connor has no health insurance — those interested in contributing to his medical care fund can do so here.

Eagles of Death Metal will continue with their touring schedule as planned.
