Nashville’s Rocketown Venue Bans Asking Alexandria

Asking Alexandria have been forced to cancel their April 12 gig in Nashville, TN at Rocketown, after the venue banned the band from performing, deeming the group “too controversial.”

The predominately Christian all-ages music venue has been the center of controversy on a number of occasions. In October 2009, the venue was forced to ban The Black Dahlia Murder and Toxic Holocaust, after getting heat from local conservatives for booking “Satanic” bands that promote drug-use to children.

Asking Alexandria has moved their April 12 headlining show to Cannery Ballroom in Nashville.
